FASO-LUX Association’s purpose is to support the sustainable development in Africa, in the Burkina FASO and elsewhere...
Our goal
Develop and operate projects, in partnership and/or in synergy with other associations or administrations, in favor of a sustainable development in the Burkina Faso, most particularly with the AAAE (Association Aidons l'Afrique Ensemble) our local partner.
Philosophy of the project

Break the stereotypical dynamics of giving and receiving…

It is necessary, above all, to change our own mentalities where it is us (the north) that have the wealth and the solutions that we want to give to those (the south) that don’t have them.

We have to learn to receive.

We prefer to privilege fair and mutual relationships over the knowledge, power and having.

The North is too used to giving and too little inclined to receive. The South is too much obliged to receive ant not enough authorized to give, to learn and to be autonomous.

United North-South Relations

We want to be partners with the Association Aidons l'Afrique Ensemble which is a democratic emanation of the delegates of 21 villages of the municipality of RAMBO (Burkina Faso).

Bilateral exchanges!

It’s the relation which creates the exchange, it’s the exchange that creates the knowledge.

If Belgians are invited to go over there to learn to know the problems and discover the solutions that can be brought, it is also important that young inhabitants of Burkina Faso can come here to discover us and follow training courses

Fair trade:

Within the limits of our means, it is necessary to help the local producers to sell their products at their just value, it is necessary to facilitate the implementation of microcredits.

Respect of cultures, of traditions and of differences

  • Replace the fear of the other one by the thirst of discovering

  • Surmount the barriers of ignorance and incomprehension.

  • Admit as wealth diversity and difference.

  • Understand the compost, the roots, the growth, the evolution and the fertility of a different culture or tradition...
